Female Dress Code

Skirt or trouser suit, top

  • Tailored suit jacket. A tailored suit jacket must be worn at all times.
  • Tailored suit trousers. The trousers must match the jacket, be tailored and have a zip.
  • Tailored suit skirt. The skirt must match the jacket and be tailored.
  • Tailored suit dress. The dress must match the jacket (matching material) and be tailored.
  • Blouse, shirt or top. The top should cover the shoulders, cleavage and midriff. Plain T-shirts are allowed.
  • Jumper or cardigan. Jumpers or cardigans may be worn in addition to the jacket but not as an alternative. If worn, they should be smart and must fit beneath the jacket.
  • Shoes. These must be a formal style. Doc Marten boots are not allowed, but Doc Marten shoes are. Any kind of trainers or pumps are not allowed.
  • Other
    • Hair must not be dyed extreme colours.
    • Only ear piercings are allowed.
    • Make up should be natural.
    • Tattoos must be covered.
  • Hijab. If worn these should be plain in colour. In the interest of health and safety, it must be worn in such a way that there are no loose ends which could be hazardous to the student. Students must be facially identifiable at all times.

  • Jumper or cardigan. Jumpers or cardigans may be worn in addition to the suit jacket but not as an alternative. If worn, they should be of formal style and must fit beneath the suit jacket.
  • Shoes. These must be a formal style. Doc Marten boots are not allowed, but Doc Marten shoes are. Any kind of trainers or pumps are not allowed.
  • Other
    • Hair must not be dyed extreme colours.
